Aldersgate United Methodist Church is a congregation of people of all ages and from many different backgrounds. Some of us have lived in Sumter all our lives and others may have just moved to town. All are welcome to worship with us. Please come as you are and experience the joy we have in praising our Lord and Savior in a traditional worship service.

Don't let your fear stop you from coming and seeing what the Lord has to offer you in a relationship with Him.  We don't have it all together, but we would cherish the opportunity to meet with you and learn together.

Sit where you are most comfortable.  Children attend the service with their parents, and we love to hear them make a joyful sound unto the Lord.  We want them to want to come to church.
